Can I get a refund?
Refunds depend on where you bought your subscription.
Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are refunded by Apple or Google through their own process, and purchases made on our website follow the Refund Policy available in the app.
A refund is not the same as a cancellation
Cancelling stops the next payment. A refund asks for money back for a payment that has already gone through.
If your goal is simply to not be charged again, cancelling is enough and it is described in its own article.
If you want a payment returned, continue below.
If you bought through the App Store
Refunds for App Store purchases are decided by Apple, not by Ombient.
Open reportaproblem.apple.com in a browser.
Sign in with the same Apple ID you used for the purchase.
Find the Ombient purchase and choose the option to request a refund.
Follow the steps and wait for Apple to reply by email.
If you bought through Google Play
Refunds for Google Play purchases are decided by Google.
Open your Google Play order history, find the Ombient purchase and use Google's refund request flow there.
Use the same Google account that made the purchase, otherwise the order will not be listed.
If you bought on the website
Website purchases are handled by us, and the rules are set out in the Refund Policy inside the app.
Write to us from Contact Us in your Profile or to [email protected], using the email address you bought with, and tell us what happened.
What helps us help you faster
The email address used for the purchase.
Where you bought it: App Store, Google Play or the website.
The date of the charge, and a screenshot of the receipt if you have one.
Even when the decision belongs to Apple or Google, we can tell you exactly where to go and what to write, so ask us if you are stuck.
