How to sign in to Ombient (Apple, Google or email code)
Ombient uses passwordless sign in: you do not create or remember a password.
On iPhone, Android or web you can sign in with Apple, Google or with your email and a one time code (OTP).
Which email should you use?
If you bought Ombient on the website via the web onboarding flow, use the same email address that you used for that purchase.
This is the email that is linked to your billing and subscription in our system.
If you sign in with a different email, the app will not see your purchase and will treat you as a new user. In that case you will be routed through the “billing app” flow and will not have access to your paid plan until you sign in with the correct email or restore your purchase.
Sign in with Apple
Open the Ombient app.
Tap Sign in and choose Apple.
Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode if asked.
You are signed in, no password to remember.
Use Apple if you prefer to keep everything tied to your Apple ID on iPhone, iPad or Mac.
Sign in with Google
Open the Ombient app or website.
Tap Sign in and choose Google.
Select your Google account and confirm.
You are signed in, again without any password.
Use Google if you already use your Google account to sign in to other apps and services.
Sign in with email and a one time code
This works on any device.
Open Ombient and tap Sign in.
Choose Email.
Enter the email address you used for your purchase on the website (the one from the web onboarding flow).
We send a one time code to that email.
Open your email, copy the code and paste it into Ombient.
Tap Sign in. There is no password to remember.
Notes
Always use the same sign in method and email that you used when you bought Ombient, so you stay on the main account and keep your plan.
If you accidentally sign in with another email and end up in the “billing app” flow, sign out and sign in again with the correct email.
If the one time code does not arrive, check spam or junk, and make sure your email address is correct, then request a new code.
