The email sign-in code isn't arriving
Ombient sends a one time code to the email address you enter, and there is no password to fall back on.
When the code does not arrive, it is almost always the address, the spam filter, or timing. Work through these in order.
1. Check the address you typed
Look for typos, a missing letter in the domain, or an extra space at the end.
Make sure it is the address you actually use for Ombient. If you bought on the website, it is the one from that purchase.
A code sent to a mistyped address arrives nowhere, and the app cannot tell you that.
2. Look in Spam and Promotions
Automated sign-in messages land in Spam or Junk more often than anything else.
If your mail app sorts into tabs or categories, check Promotions and Updates too, not just the main inbox.
Searching your whole mailbox for Ombient is faster than opening folders one by one.
3. Give it a moment, then request a new code
Mail delivery is not always instant. Wait a couple of minutes before deciding nothing came.
Then request a fresh code and use the newest one you received: older codes stop being valid once a new one is issued.
Other things worth checking
A full mailbox can reject incoming messages. Free some space if yours is close to its limit.
A corporate or school address may filter automated mail before you ever see it. A personal address is a useful test.
If you originally signed in with Apple or Google, use that button instead. There is no code to wait for on those routes.
If nothing arrives at all
Write to us at [email protected] from any working address, since you cannot get into the app to use Contact Us.
Tell us the address you were trying to sign in with and roughly when you requested the code, and we will check what happened on our side.
