What is Breathwork in Ombient?

Breathwork, the Breath tab, offers guided breathing sessions.
An audio guide leads you through the phases of each breath, inhale, hold and exhale, so you can follow along without counting yourself. Results are individual and vary from person to person.

Where to find it

Breathwork lives in its own tab, called Breath, among the main tabs of the app.
You can open it directly whenever you want a breathing session, without going through the Catalog or your plan.

How a session works

  • Open the Breath tab and start a session.

  • The audio guide marks each phase, so you know when to inhale, when to hold and when to exhale.

  • You follow the guide at the pace it sets, rather than tracking the rhythm yourself.

  • You can leave the session at any time using the exit control, and your practice pauses as soon as you do.

What else Breathwork includes

  • Difficulty levels from 1 to 4, where the higher levels are part of premium. See the article about the levels.

  • Live group sessions, where you breathe at the same time as others. See the article about live group sessions.

Practical notes

  • Start at a level that feels comfortable rather than the highest one available.

  • If a session feels unpleasant at any point, use the exit control and stop. Nothing is lost by leaving early.

  • Results are individual and vary from person to person, depending on how often you practice.

If a breathing session will not start or the audio guide does not play, the article about content not playing covers the usual causes, or write to us from Contact Us in your Profile or at [email protected].
