How do I set the duration and final sound in Portal?
In Portal you choose your session duration and a final sound to close the session (for example Sunrise, Piano or Mantra).
Set your preferences, then start the session.
Setting the session duration
Before you start a session in Portal, you can decide how long it should last.
This is useful if you have a specific amount of time, for example a short break during work or a longer session before sleep.
Open the Portal tab.
Find the duration control in circle.
Select the length that fits your plan.
Once you start the session, it will run for the chosen duration and then stop or transition to the final sound, depending on how you set it up.
Choosing a sound
Portal lets you pick a sound that plays when the session plays.
This helps you finish the session smoothly instead of an abrupt stop.
Examples of final sounds include:
Sunrise for a gentle, uplifting ending.
Music for a calm, musical close.
Mantra for a more meditative finish.
When the main part of the session ends, the final sound will play automatically.
