How do I rate a session?
After a session you can rate it in the player, up to 5 stars.
Your rating helps Ombient understand what works best for you.
How to leave a rating
Finish a session, or leave it when you have heard enough.
In the player, choose the number of stars, up to five.
That is all: the rating is saved and you can carry on.
Rating is optional. Skipping it does not affect your plan or your progress.
What your rating is used for
Ratings tell us which sessions land well for you, and that feeds into what gets suggested to you: your plan and the Today For You picks lean on what you actually respond to, not on what is generally popular.
Rate honestly rather than generously. A low rating on something that did not suit you is more useful than a polite five, because it steers future suggestions away from that direction.
Practical notes
Rate on how the session felt for you today, not on how good you think it is in general.
A session you left early can still be rated. Leaving is information too.
Ratings are personal. They shape your own recommendations.
Results are individual and vary from person to person, so the sessions that suit you may differ from what suits somebody else.
If you cannot rate a session
The stars belong to the player, so make sure the player is open rather than the Catalog list.
If they do not appear at all, check that you are on the latest version of Ombient from the App Store or Google Play, then write to us from Contact Us in your Profile or at [email protected] with the session name and your device.
